Mansour Akram Ojjeh is a Saudi Arabia-born entrepreneur who is the CEO and shareholder of TAG. TAG was founded in 1997 by his father Akram Ojjeh. TAG, famous for the TAG Heuer brand, owns 21% of the McLaren Group. The most famous asset of group is the McLaren Formula One team. In 1985, TAG Group purchased Swiss watchmaker Heuer. The brand name TAG Heuer was formed. Under TAG Group's ownership, TAG Heuer modernised its product line and increased worldwide sales. LVMH purchased TAG Heuer in 1999 for US$740 million. TAG sponsored Williams in the early 1980s and then supplied McLaren with TAG Turbo Engines with the help of Porsche in the mid 1980s. The McLaren relationship continues to this day, with the TAG Group holding a stake in the McLaren Group.
